Jim and Betty are great people. They are both retired STEM professionals doing what they love... feeding people and visiting with the locals.The food is amazing. They typically have only a few items on the menu... Wontons and Cashew Chicken (regular and spicy). They are Super friendly, I always look forward to seeing their smiling faces. They are local ICONS and an inspiration to all of us. Its primarily carryout, although there are a few seats at the counter.

It was my first time coming, and the atmosphere was just what I was looking for. Family-owned and family-run. Good portions and cheap price. Cash only, but I like it that way because I know it’s authentic. I tried tipping, but they said they would appreciate it more if I came back, so that is what I will be doing. It’s a blessing to have this much love and quality put into the food.

Miss Betty’s Magic Wok in Oak Ridge is a unique little spot with a simple menu that they do very well. There are basically two main entrée options—chicken with or without cashews—each available mild or spicy. The chicken is flavorful and cooked perfectly, though a bit on the salty side for my taste. The fried dumplings are excellent—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. Overall, a tasty and memorable meal, especially if you enjoy straightforward, no-frills cooking done right.

A dump of a so called restaurant that serves one food item... Are you kidding me?? Sodium filled chicken and rice with little to no veggies and pork wontons that are barely cooked. Disgusting. This place should have been shut down years ago.

Magic is right! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by freshly cooked food, awaiting your return.
Cashew chicken plate was loaded with sodium. All you could taste was the liquid salt (soy sauce) No taste to it. Won’t be returning!

I have been wanting to stop by here for some time and just never got a chance. I'm SOOO glad today the man I care for went in wanting lunch. As soon as I smelled it I knew I had to have it. Then the sweet lady mentioned me and called me sooo pretty and talked and had a conversation with me. Both were super kind and friendly and after work I stopped back in and got not just me a meal, but my whole family. I was super pleased that it didn't just smell amazing but tasted even more Amazing! I will definitely be coming back. Nothing g left to take pictures of lol.
