I know it looks scary! Best Chinese food here in Oak Ridge. Happened to over hear a nurse mentioning Mrs.Betty. You only have 2 options and there is seating outside. There are 4 bar stools inside, good luck there!

The owners are very friendly, the atmosphere is very old school, and the food is fantastic. Since it's such a small building if anyone orders something very spicy everyone can smell it. Makes me laugh. Everyone i know adores her and the cooking. It may not be all posh and fancy like all these commercial buildings, but it's very social and real. If you want to continue living in the matrix feel free to continue eating at places like Mcdonalds and Crackerbarrel. If you want authentic Asian food and a warming atmosphere go here. Support real people not corporate greed.

Hands down, the BEST Asian food I have ever had. Everything Miss Betty cooks is delicious. Her cashew chicken is beyond comparison. There is typically a line around the small building at lunchtime. Don't let the looks of the place fool you. One visit is all it takes to be hooked like I am!
Miss Betty makes the best egg rolls you've ever tasted. Actually a historic little Chinese food lunch wagon. Outside eating tables. Well known in Oak Ridge for many years. She's always got a few cars parked around it. Take some of her stuff home with you you won't regret it.

I was thrilled to see this little restaurant was back when I was visiting a few years ago. Miss Betty has been cooking her amazing spicy chicken and cashews for ages and it’s just as good as I remember it. She makes her egg rolls and wontons fresh every morning. I wanted to get some spicy chicken the other day and the line was out the door! One of my favorite places to eat in Oak Ridge.
