Looked forward to eating here but was disappointed. We spent the day in Oak Ridge and decided to eat here. I do like soup and make it for my lunch. We entered the restaurant and noticed the modest attempt at decorations. My wife got the tomato basil soup with a three cheese grilled sandwich. She commented on the Mexican cornbread and the server actually gave her a broken piece. She really enjoyed her lunch. I got the clam chowder with a grilled cheese sandwich. Needless to say...

I had lunch with my Brother & Sister- awhile back & Everything is Great- even the Vegetarian Soup is amazing & their Brown Bread is better than any other I have tried!! Everyone is very nice & some people look at you- like you’re crazy, if you prefer meatless soup, well If they know me- that’s true, I will admit that I am a little bit crazy 🤪. They All deserve at least 10 stars, but if you have the chance to go there, you’ll be a repeat guest ❣️

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I popped into The Soup Kitchen on a whim this evening - I was in the mood for soup since it's fall and it felt right for a Friday night - and I am SO happy I did. The crab chowder was INCREDIBLE and the roll (I got white bread) was absolutely delicious. Like so good I could probably eat 6 in a sitting. And to top it off, some of the BEST Coconut Cream Pie I have ever had. I will absolutely be coming back to try more!
