To be quite honest, this particular Mexican restaurant is located in a less than desirable side of Oak Ridge… In my opinion. So in spite of being reluctant to try it, we entered… We thought we would just get beers and chips and salsa and give it a shot… The waiter, an expert at his skill set, positioned for us to try the grilled jalapeños with sour cream and cream cheese, and their bacon wrapped — sold! My wife and I are truly Zandunga fanatics, having been there many times. We ordered dishes to go and let me say one thing, still amazing just how delectably delicious their food is. Authentically perfect food that is not only fantastic but also huge portions that give us leftovers! Best Mexican restaurant, hands down, in the entire area. If I could give a ten star rating on a five star rating, I would. Thank you Zandunga, you are great each and every time we have been there!!!...

I’ve been here twice and gotten the quesabirria tacos, awesome quality both times. The rest of my family likes what they get as well. The street corn is also very good. I haven’t been able to find a similar type of menu in the area, so they definitely offer a good unique and diverse selection!
