Excellent food. The Monday special (named for the women of New Orleans cooking beans on Monday while they did the wash) is red beans and rice plus catfish. (My friend who grew up in New Orleans loved it.I had the Coonut Shrimp plus fried okra and fried green tomatoes. The food and service all were great!

The food is amazing. Best seafood and gator bites in east Tennessee. Hushpuppies are delicious. The okra was great. The fried green beans are amazing. Saved the sauce from the gator bites and dipped the fried green beans in it. Yummy. My daughter got the fried shrimp plate with red beans and rice and french fries. She loved all of it. I got the blackened shrimp plate with okra and onion rings. I loved the shrimp and okra. Onion rings were not my cup of tea. My mom got the catfish plate with fried green beans and okra. She loved the catfish and their homemade tartar sauce. And the rest of her plate. The portions are very large and worth the price.
The place seemed dingy to me. The waitress was very preoccupied because we practically received our order and had to keep reminding her what we ordered. The food was hot enough to eat but a few minutes more and it wouldn't have. For Over $120 for 3 dinners not worth it at all. Next time I go thru Tenn. This place will not be on my menu.

If you are from new orleans this food will be disappointing. Everyone local was saying it was amazing so I was hoping it would be good and was excited when I walked in and noticed all the saints and LSU decorations. None of the food was actually " cajun " the jambalaya had a barbecue taste.

I don't see myself revisiting the Cajun Lady. I didn't appreciate the waitress or her comments. I ordered the jambalaya which looked and tasted like it had set on the stove all day, and the okra, which was good, but you could tell it was the store-bought breaded kind, and cole slaw which had a strong vinegar twang to it. The prices were higher than the online menu and portions were

Love this place especially the cole slaw but they were out of it.
Parking: Parking lot is gravel so I don't know how it would be to get a wheelchair inside.
Relaxed atmosphere, fast friendly service and delicious food. We had gator bites for the first time and loved it. We also had one shrimp and one catfish poboy. Both where fresh and tasty. Their onion rings are some of the best we have ever tried!

Had the shrimp etoufee and jambalaya. No exaggeration: as good as the food I had at Prudhomme’s place in Lafayette, LA. Food has amazing attention to detail. Shrimp perfectly cooked. Wow.Service was attentive, friendly just a huge crowd on a Friday night.
