Excellent food. The Monday special (named for the women of New Orleans cooking beans on Monday while they did the wash) is red beans and rice plus catfish. (My friend who grew up in New Orleans loved it.I had the Coonut Shrimp plus fried okra and fried green tomatoes. The food and service all were great!
The food is amazing. Best seafood and gator bites in east Tennessee. Hushpuppies are delicious. The okra was great. The fried green beans are amazing. Saved the sauce from the gator bites and dipped the fried green beans in it. Yummy. My daughter got the fried shrimp plate with red beans and rice and french fries. She loved all of it. I got the blackened shrimp plate with okra and onion rings. I loved the shrimp and okra. Onion rings were not my cup of tea. My mom got the catfish...
I don't see myself revisiting the Cajun Lady. I didn't appreciate the waitress or her comments. I ordered the jambalaya which looked and tasted like it had set on the stove all day, and the okra, which was good, but you could tell it was the store-bought breaded kind, and cole slaw which had a strong vinegar twang to it.
