We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch after rafting. They were moderately busy but we were greeted and seated promptly upon entering around 1:15pm. Our server was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, they must've been short on kitchen staff because our orders of a burger and reuben sandwich didn't come out until around 2:05. The burger had been ordered medium but came out well done. Hubby still ate it because we were hungry and had waited so long already. He wasn't gonna mention it to the server, but I did because he's one of those that only eats their steak rare, so you can imagine it wasn't completely enjoyable chewing through a well done burger. Luckily the situation was remedied without us even asking. The reuben was very good. Our sides of fries were hot and potatoe-y but lacked salt. There was also a small piece of lettuce and a small piece of what looked like grilled chicken on my plate (the reuben meal) which was concerning. We still tipped well.

Older building, staff was great, biscuits were huge, just a little tough to cut. Large portions needs a kids menu. Id give 4.5, but I can't.

I loved this place. Excellent homemade pot roast, and chicken tenders to write home about. Perfect food for after a white water rafting trip. Service made me feel like I was visiting my mom. :)

Rose. 🌹 our server. 💯. It was my choice for birthday meal. I have NOT been disappointed EVER. I had a patty melt this time. Guess what? Side. Pickled BEETS. That’s right, son. Also, they have blackberry cobbler a la mode. (That means with ice cream) did I get a slice? YUP!
Had not one but TWO appetizers. Fried pickle spears. (Excellent) and FRIED GREEN TOMATOES! (Best in all the LAND)
Will be back and back and back and back and BACK!
ROSE RULES and was EXCELLENT. It gets no better in service. Also, food is super fresh and atmosphere is PERFECTION.

Best food you're going to find in the area ,some of it felt a bit pricey for what it was but the portions are very fair & the food was good. Staff was polite & helpful but I will say the wait times can be a bit rough if they get even a little busy.
