The food truck was on campus today. Overall horrible food in my opinion. The brisket sandwich was practically inedible. It’s kinda a disgrace to real bbq by calling it brisket. Sauces were either mislabeled or wrong because their version of Carolina mustard is more of a bland, watery concoction of vinegar and mystery seeds. I wouldn’t recommend this anyone.

Tried their food truck at Knoxville and it was an underwhelming experience overall. The burnt ends were tough and chewy, and their collard greens that were recommended to me by them were under-seasoned. Their smokehouse potato salad was very good and their huge selection of sauces were great, but those can only go so far. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or family.

JOHNBOY’S catered my daughter’s wedding! We planned for 150. More guests showed up. We had plenty of food!!! More than enough! The food was delicious and the delivery and set up was wonderful!! Highly recommend JOHNBOY’S for your next event. You can’t beat the price, plus you know it’s good home cooked food!!!!
