Ruby and her husband have a nice and quaint restaurant. The food is all homemade. I highly recommend when you’re in the area. Breakfast and lunch is so delicious. I try to eat there at least once a week.
Had a fantastic lunch there today (4/28/24). It’s run by a Husband and Wife…..a true mom n pop gem of a diner. It’s not a fancy place but was clean and nice. Add this to your must stop for lunch list on your way to/from the mountains.
We stopped in after attending an overlanding event at the Penitentiary about 10 miles away. The owner told us they were completely sold out of breakfast and needed 20 mins to clean up for lunch. It must be good if they sold out of all of their breakfast!! We waited and were served very promptly. Fried bologna was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS!!!!!! Slightly burnt (which I love) and full of flavor. Thanks Joann!!!!!
