I’m sad i spent 2 years in Winfield and only visited this place once on my last day living there. Their chicken salad Sammie’s are to die for. I will drive back 7.5 hours just to buy them out, they were so good. Their cheesecake was also delicious.
Best desserts in town! We love soup and pie days and appreciate the regular menu options like Frito pie and taco salad which you can't go wrong with. If you stop though, you must try the dessert because it truly sets the place apart! Now that it is fall and cozy season, I am even more looking forward to sweetie pie days (Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays) so that I can enjoy the soups I've come to love so much in perfect soup weather!
I don’t usually ding restaurants for service but this place was especially shambolic. They somehow messed up taking the initial order (something wrong with their register) which meant it took 10 minutes just to finish the process. After waiting 20 minutes for a basic order- bagels and avocado toast- the server came out to inform me that they did not have vegan cream cheese for my “vegan bagel” and asked if I could make due with secretions.
