We had a custom cake made earlier this year and it was phenomenal! Lemon champagne with cream cheese icing is to die for! This week we ordered the pumpkin swirl cheesecake, apple crumble cheesecake, and the bourbon pecan chocolate chip pie for our Thanksgiving gathering. They were DELICIOUS! Especially the apple crumble cheesecake, it was absolute HEAVEN! Both visits were worth EVERY penny! They were especially careful with our custom cake to avoid our daughter’s food allergens. 10 out of 10 highly recommend Southern Charm Bakery!

We recently had the pleasure of ordering a Iron Man birthday cake for my 7-year-old son Emory from Southern Charm Bakery & Cupcakery, and we couldn't be more delighted with the entire experience. From the moment I placed the order, Courtney and the staff exhibited exceptional customer service, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm for creating a magical cake for our son. What truly sets Southern Charm apart is the passion and dedication they pour into every creation. Our son was jumping up and down when he saw it. It's an experience he will always remember!

Oh where to begin, I was referred to this establishment. I have not actually been inside of it and after seeing some of the reviews I believe that is best. That said I placed an order for my daughter’s wedding that is going to be in December back in October and I paid it full. The cake and cookies were going to be dropped off at the wedding venue and I was going to add a couple of things to finish up the cake and the cookies I was going to be placing in bags for guests to go with them. It’s a small venue yet very nice and Special for our daughter and her fiancée. Well I went to my doctor and I got some very very bad news. I WAS NOT EXPECTING at ALL. My whole life has been Turned upside down and then some. I will not be able to go to my daughter’s wedding and do anything the designs for the tables see her dad walk her down the isle and just be there for her on this Special Day that she & I have talked about ever since she was a little girl. Not only that she and her fiancé wanted me to not just be there but they have truly left the whole theme and decorations etc up to me because they knew that they would be so happy and also overwhelmed with excitement when saw vision come to life.All that said I received news that I am NOT going to be able to be at the wedding Instead I am going to be home due to I have to have a MAJOR SURGERY. I am just still in shock that I can’t put it off but I can’t. My doctor has done injections in my hips and in my back and I was told the sooner I have the surgery the better my chances. So I emailed them and called and spoke with the owner on October 18. That is the day I found outBecause we had change what we were doing due to the fact I am not going to be able to do anything on the cake. So we found a catering company that does cakes as well as food. Everything changed. I was told she would go back through the emails and get back with me. Now here we are and I called several times and I know she is very busy and I understand that. One of the people who works there informed me earlier this week that she did not see any emails pulled on my behalf. The owner was out until Tuesday I thanked her. I called back and now I am being told the emails still need to be pulled up along with even though I paid full price for the cake I will loose half the money. That’s interesting to me considering the fact that I was not aware of that it’s not on any of my paperwork. The $402.18,Cleared on Oct 4 and I canceled everything on October 18 which leaves over 30 days notice on a situation that I am NOT in Control of. I wasn’t going to do this leave a review on here because I am not like this then I thought since a company referred them to us this just isn’t RIGHT at All. I was told this week again I will get back with you and again crickets. So I am really sorry but this is just really really Wrong in my opinion. Life happens things happen that are out of your control and when you run a business you have to take care of your customers and from what I see and from what I have personally experienced that has not been the case. I truly wish you all the bestAnd I really wish things would have been different.But you have not communicated with me and therefore I did start a dispute with you today at my bank because you took and since October 18 you know that Cake and cookies your establishment is not going to be doing. So yes I do believe that you are avoiding me. That’s okay I am going to be praying for you because I have no hard feelings. I hope that you don’t either. Really do hope that God sends you the best people to help you out because I believe you are Great at what you do that said everyone needs extra help sometimes ?

Could use more life in there and better employees. Some cupcakes are good like the pumpkin spice or penutbutter but some are stale good presentation

We had Southern Charm bake us some cookies for our business ribbon cutting. Not only were the cookies fantastic but Courtney even opened her business a little later to join us. Thank you Southern Charm!!

Very pleased. Ordered red velvet cupcakes and they were made that day I picked it up. So fresh from the oven. Very delicious. Had a bit of chocolate pudding within. A pleasant surprise.Also many thanks to the two workers that were very friendly and helpful. They represent the southern charm as the business name indicates. So friendly, this is what call Southern hospitality.

Let me start by saying, I'm not one of those people who love pumpkin spice items and can't wait for them every fall. That said, YOU HAVE TO TRY THE PUMPKIN SPICE W MAPLE FROSTING CINNAMON ROLLS!!!! They are delicious, as are the lemon bars.And they are nice and kind and who doesn't need sweets and kindness.

Ordered the coconut cake for my son's birthday and this was the best cake we have ever tasted.

Southern Charm you did not disappoint! I purchased the orange dream and banana pudding cupcakes and they were very delicious. I am here with my fiancé on a workcation. If he’s ever back in the area he will have to stop in and bring home some cupcakes.Of all the times that I take pictures I didn’t take one this time.

First - super cute store! From all appearances, I was expecting the food to be just as good. I ordered some cookies for our office personnel and they looked amazing. It felt great to hand out what was supposed to be a good treat. Unfortunately, everyone that had a cookie complained they were stale. I tried one and experienced the same result. Based on the texture and taste, I presumed they had been left out for several days (week plus). I called the store and spoke with a very nice associate and told her what happened. She said she would have a manager call me back. That was over a week ago and I haven’t received a call. My basis for leaving a low review is two-fold. The food failed to meet the expectations of my staff and I (who likes stale cookies?) and the fact I provided an alternative to speak with a manager so they could rectify the situation (I wasn’t looking for a refund - a simple apology from someone in an accountability role would have been nice). I looked at other reviews and noticed a reoccurring theme - stale food. Disappointing. This place could kill it if they could overcome this issue. They’re the only boutique shop in town. Note to administrator - I’ll happily update this post if you take the time to discuss it with me. Readers - if it’s still here, they haven’t reached out.

Arriving in White House, I expected to come to this bakery with high hopes and was ready to expect delicious pastries. After coming into the store, I see dozens of old pastries lying there but still being sold. Not only does this so called bakery have days old pastries but the treatment I saw from the boss to the workers, were astronomical. What looked like the manager/boss, was yelling and throwing a tantrum at the poor employees, not knowing what to do. All in all you should not come to the southern charm bakery.

Definitely will NEVER use them again. Was told to pick up cake at 9am and they didn't get there until 11. Called several times and no answer. Threw off the whole day to my daughter's birthday party.
