5 stars!! this was the best meal that I have eaten in a long time. the pinto beans were perfect, the greens were seasoned to perfection. I normally don't pick either one of those items when I eat out (they aren't usually very good) these were the best I have ever eaten. I'm so glad we decided to stop. I wish all the places we stopped had such good quality food and service. Thanks for making my Day♥️

They have very unique stuff there I have never seen anywhere else that makes great gifts. They have a bar of soap with only lard, Lye and water or an extra herb or oat meal. They are super friendly and don't forget to grab a hot meal and sit by a genuine wood burning heater for the warmth and wonderful wooden aroma. Make sure you pick up that Forbus soap bar, then you will leave with the longest time honored tradition even the Babylonians washed their odors off with. Yes Lye soap goes back that far

Today is our second time we've been to this store. It reminds me of the General Stores of the old days. The food is awesome and very inexpensive compared to the cracker barrel, shoney's etc.....! This post is 100% real..🙃

Best burger plate in Pall Mall! The store was established in 1892 and it is amazing! And the fudge is out of this world! I not only highly recommend a visit, it would almost be a sin not to. And yes, I had a bite of the burger before I thought to take a picture. The fries and slaw were just as tasty as the burger.
There is seating for dining in and it was a pleasure to sit and enjoy a meal in a piece of history.

We love Forbus General Store, BUT on our very first trip there (from Indiana) my mom got a banana split and was almost halfway through eating it when she realized it had NO BANANAS!!! Whoever made it had forgotten to put bananas in it!! 😳🤦♀️ HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??? 😂
This little store has stolen my heart. The people are sooooo nice. You can grab a bite to eat and purchase a gift for someone or yourself. A must stop.
