We love Forbus General Store, BUT on our very first trip there (from Indiana) my mom got a banana split and was almost halfway through eating it when she realized it had NO BANANAS!!! Whoever made it had forgotten to put bananas in it!! 😳🤦♀️ HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??? 😂
a bit pricey but so cute! hubs loves the decor. great for breakfast & good selection of candies for later. friendly staff. York Mill has a great view to enjoy your food at, where we enjoyed ours. perfect.
Okay, I love this little store. But I can only give it 4 stars because it’s so hot inside there, and for that reason they don’t have the good food that they need the oven food. In the summer it’s just frozen-fried or grilled. Also, the dust and dirt is over whelming.
However, if they would do a little clean up here and there it would help. It’s a super cool place, and I will definitely go back—but would love to see this place get a little face lift.
