Very friendly staff. The food was delicious, Hot and fresh, served table side quickly. The restaurant itself is pretty chill but other than the temperature of the dinning area it was an over all good experience. Big rig friendly back parking area.
Reading all the previous reviews certainly made me nervous BUT I'd go back again. The food was spot on for Capt. D's, everyone was very friendly/helpful. The place was quick & clean! Give em shot.
Delicious fish, slaw, fries, hush puppies, fried shrimp, loaded baked potato soup, and chocolate cheese cake! All tasty, hot, and fresh. Efficient and knowledgeable front counter service and helpful and caring dining room service. Great bar height table seating with comfortable, cushioned chairs excellent for us older folks, easier than getting down and up in a booth. Wonderful Monday Captain D's lunch experience at a much better price than the upscale restaurant next door...
