The team at Oaklawn were absolutely outstanding. We were greeting warmly and congratulated on out anniversary. We had a table set with a theme to celebrate our occasion. The waitress was fantastic and had wonder feedback to our questions. The food was top notch, fun, and creative. Top marks across the board!
Great experience from the moment we pulled up to the front door! We were there to celebrate a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make the night special. Our party enjoyed the sea bass, the grouper, and the pork chop entrees along with yummy desserts. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out!
Truly a wonderful experience. From the moment you are greeted at the door, you know the service will be impeccable. The staff is well trained and knowledgeable. The menu is just the right size, with great options for everyone. We have visited twice and can't wait to go back and try new things. We have not had a bad menu item, not just entree. There are no corners cut like you sometimes see in a smaller town fine dining. This is in my top 3 restaurants I've ever visited.
Carried my wife here for our 30th anniversary and had a great experience the staff were excellent and the food was amazing!!! Can't say enough good things about it,we most definitely will be back again!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great food, no takeaway, but service was great.
Class is the word that comes to mind for this place! From the valet to the host, the server, the meal, and even the owner—everything was top-tier. You can tell they’re all about delivering an experience, not just a meal. And do yourself a favor: try the Angel Eggs. Absolute must!
My husband and I went to Oaklawn for a date night! Great spot, cozy atmosphere, AMAZING FOOD, very friendly staff! We ordered the artichoke mushrooms, and will most definitely be getting those again! My husband had The Ribeye, perfect medium rare with a great seared crust. Bacon brussel sprouts were crispy and delicious. I had the scallops with risotto and asparagus, all which were fantastic. Finally for dessert we had the chocolate mousse and I couldn't get enough of it!!! The valet staff were very kind and professional. The hostess took our photo before walking inside, which I loved. We were immediately greeted with smiling faces and a warm welcome. Our server, Gracey, was very knowledgeable about the menu, courteous, and professional. Overall, we had an amazing time dining here and will be back!
I highly recommend this establishment to anybody wanting an ultimate experience that brings class, elegance and taste to the table. Take your dining experience to the next level. Walking in, you're immediately greeted with sweet and friendly staff, not to mention valet parking, compliments of the establishment. The owner visits each table and welcomes everyone to the wonderful experience. Food is prepared for a next level experience. The blend of flavors are extraordinary and each bite shows the true love it was prepared with. I will recommend this establishment to all who enjoy the finer things of life .. ❤️
Small town, local steakhouse, we came with our party who have been several times before. The staff were wonderful. Attentive, polite, and very pleasant to be around. We were seated in the back of the restaurant. The lighting is a bit dim, but it helps to set the mood. They also have outdoor seating as well. Their menu is simple. Three out of the four of us ordered the Famous Benton bacon Wrapped Bourbon-Glazed Filet and the other, Blues City Filet with blue cheese crumbles. Thankfully, you are given the option to choose your own sides. Two of us got the bourbon bacon maple brussel sprouts and the other two, creamed spinach. We did not wait long for the food to be served. All the filets were cooked perfectly to order – medium rare. The filets were tender, cut like butter and melted in your mouth. They are topped with tallow. I am not a fan of that but none the less it did not interfere with the taste of the meat. The The Benton filet had a sweet taste from the bourbon, not my favorite but I assumed the taste when I ordered it and still very much enjoyed the meat. The two of us who ordered the Brussel sprouts found them to be served luke-warm, we both took notice to this and they should’ve been warmer. The creamed spinach was served hot and was delightful. The owner became aware of the situation and took the steps to make it right. The reason this restaurant is deserving of 5 stars is because the attention and care the owner took to right the wrong. Steakhouses are expensive and instead of being brushed off because the side dish was cold, he cared. You don’t get that anymore in restaurants and with that, we will for sure be returning
The atmosphere at Oaklawn was welcoming, the food was so delicious and the service was unparalleled! What a wonderful dinner experience!!

What a hidden gem we ran into. We were greeted by a wonderful staff. The owner sat us at our table. It’s our first time here on a Monday it was open. We just purchased a home in the area. It was a pleasant surprise and we totally enjoyed it. We will be back! Thank you!
