NEVER AGAIN.. wife kids and I try to eat here every couple months even though we live just over a hour away in Paducah, ky. This time the owner and two other guys were sitting behind us, they never quit talking at a loud volume. We couldn't enjoy our dinner. Then when he scolded one of his waitresses in a rude manner right in front of us i couldn't take it anymore and told him to shut up and to quit talking to her that way. What a jerk we paid our bill and left, and will never return.

Read a few iffy reviews, but drove down from Murray for a late lunch to see for ourselves. Seating was quick, staff were friendly, and the restaurant had a very hometown feel to it. I thought the salad bar was really good, as was the buffet. Wasn't a big fan of the mashed potatoes, but everything else was great. And I should not have been surprised...Paris...Catfish....but the catfish steaks I got off the buffet were absolutely delicious. I generally find buffets to be sort of tasteless and generic... Old West's food tasted like your favorite southern grandmother had been in the kitchen all day cooking up a feast.

Came into town for a fishing tournament and just wanted a steak and Mac and cheese and they came through! Had a good experience with food and friendly environment. Allison took care of us and was good with chit chatting. If we are ever back in Paris we will come back
