We saw this place on the SEC networks Down South show and decided to give it a go. Before we can even get in the door, the owner, Mr. Ramey, met us under the overhang. Had a great conversation while we waited for our food. Trust me, take the time to get off the main road and go by. But remember, they are only open three days a week and, it is an increasingly popular spot. Oh, and there is no place to sit and eat so, drive your pick up truck and sit on the tailgate!
I don't live in Parsons, but every time I visit my grandmother in Scott's Hill I like to stop at Rameys and get lunch for us. I always get the same nice lady in the window every time. the food is always great and affordable. we usually have a little leftover for later. we all very much enjoyed it. thank you for making our visit a little more special.
We used Ramey's to cater my father in law's retirement party this weekend. They were delightful to work with. The lady I placed the other with was very helpful. All the food was packaged well for transport, perfectly hot/cold and it was all excellent!!! Great BBQ but the chicken BBQ with sauce was my favorite! Highly recommend
