This is the best catfish I’ve ever tasted in Tennessee. I highly recommend this place. It’s amazing and worth the wait!
This is where catfish plate dreams come true! Fresh catfish golden fried. White beans are absolutely delicious, jalapeño hushpuppies too. Mayo slaw was perfect. A little hot sauce, yum! Come get you some goodness!

Restaurantji Recommends
On our first visit to the Rivershack we were very impressed with the food, the service and food staff. The restaurant is very nice and clean. The service was excellent and welcoming. It’s my opinion that the catfish was the best that I’ve ever eaten. I recommend the Rivershack highly.
I've loved this place since I was a kid! Had to take my boys there. The food is delicious in the service is stellar! Get there early on the weekends and ask for Miranda.

Amazing food and service
It’s very disappointing to drive an hour, wait over an hour, and then be told at the last minute they ran out of fish, but we can eat a hamburger. I could’ve went to McDonald’s and saved a lot of time.
