Just finished our first meal here at Crossroads Meal House.
SOOOOOO glad we discovered it. I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Wife had the grilled pork chop, creamy zucchini, and mac n cheese.
This was NOT a dinner at a restaurant, this was excellent food prepared just like a family members home. All of it was beyond delicious- great depth of flavor, authentic, fresh ingredients, bold seasoning instead of bland typical restaurant fare......
Cant wait to go back for another hearty, filling, delicious, home cooked Southern Dinner/Supper......

The food was absolutely delicious......I had the shrimp and grits and it was soooo good...portions are huge so I had it next day for lunch! My husband had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and white beans, also delicious...service was excellent. It is truly a "hidden gem"!

We ate here for the first time tonight! When I tell you this was the BEST meal I’ve had in a loooong time, I am not exaggerating. I got the ribeye steak which was perfectly seasoned and cooked, my 2 sides were the stars of the meal though, DELICIOUS! My husband was just as impressed with his meal. This place is a hidden gem that more people need to find so they stay open forever. We will be back!

There were four of us and we tried the fried chicken, the meatloaf and that amazing chicken sandwich. The food was absolutely delicious and the young lady that waited on us was super sweet. This is a hidden gem over in Petersburg. Definitely worth the trip.
Vegetarian options: They do have a vegetable plate.
Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair for my granddaughter. It’s a casual, family atmosphere.

Swung thru for a quick burger and fries . The burger was top notch and tasted like good beef , the fries I didn’t care for but they were edible . Will be back to try other meals .

This place is AMAZING!! I love the atmosphere, the service is great, and the food is hands down great!! If you are looking for a home cooked family place to go, please go here! Oh yeah, and you must get dessert!! I had the peach cobbler and it was so so good!!
The blackberry cobbler warmed with a scoop of ice cream is so good. They make a great Zucchini Au Gratin and broccoli cornbread.

So this is a tough one. First the bad, our waitress was one of the most un-interested could not care less about what she was doing waitresses ever. That being said, the manager was the sweetest, nicest most engaging person. The locally sourced steaks are marinated and have one strong flavor, should be noted on the menu! Had to send the streak back for very strong marinate, I am sure it is loved by many just not our favorite. The "OMG Burger" is fabulous! The chicken strips, fresh cut fries and fried corn are also very tasty. I would have bought a gallon of the ranch if available.

This is a nice little hidden jem of a restaurant!! Nothing but great things to say. The service was great, felt like home. The Ribeye was delicious with great flavor, the OMG Burger was HUGE, and the Southern Fried Chicken Salad had the most mouth watering chicken!! We topped it off with the BlackBerry Cobbler that was to die for!
