Good food. Quick service. Cold beer. What's not to like? Haven't been there when they have live music but my guess is that the room's too small for anything but a kazoo player.

There is a reason they are always busy. They are that good!! Pair that with fantastic service and you get a 5 star place to eat! Definitely one of my favorites!

We were driving through TN and have never been here before. Fabulous food (I had a marinated burger and my husband had a butt sub ) and both were fantastic!! We would definitely eat here again if we were traveling on this route. We had a very engaging waitress and checked on us all the time, gave great recommendations, etc.) Very cute, clean and easy to have a conversation restaurant. Highly recommend!

They give a large amount of fries , and WHy not ? It's easily the lowest budget item on the menu. Their fries suck, and you're reminded of that because you can't find your burger due to the mound of never aatisfying shoestring fries ,

Loves the live music on Friday !!! Fried buffalo mushrooms were a total hit as an appetizer! I could have eaten several plates of them, perfect combo of the buffalo sauce, blue cheese and ranch! The sweet chilli chicken sub with the street corn was so delicious, and the sub was great the next day too. We will be back soon.

Nice little gem hidden away in a quiet part of the country. Although it seemed that for folks in the area, this is the spot to be!! Live music, upbeat atmosphere, smiles all around! The staff was attentive and made sure we were happy with food and beverages. We had the wings (which are naked not breaded in case you are interested) with the Swezey sauce, a mix of BBQ, Sweet Chili and mild Buffalo. Highly recommend it. It's like a sweet and sour with a kick. The bleu cheese dressing was equally spectacular and the ranch was more like a dip than dressing, not watered down. The wings are served with French fries or Tots. Got me some tots! Love crunchy tots and these didn't disappoint. Many folks around us got the Philly Cheese steak or a Burger. Both looked stupendous! The Cheese steak was huge like enough for two so hopefully no one is mad at me when they do split one only left wanting more. lol. There was also an ad that they support a local farmer so that's a plus in my book to buy local. Oh and there were many awards plastered on the wall for best food. I didn't get a good look at the awards but that's saying something! Enjoy y'all!

What a gem!! We were driving through and looking for a place to stop north of Nashville for dinner and found Swezey's Pub... and so glad we did! We were seated at a communal high-top table that made me a little nervous BUT that was on me. There was no reason to be nervous, we weren't packed in like sardines Amazing happy hour pricing/specials, but because we had more of a drive ahead we didn't order alcohol (next time??). We each ordered sandwiches... the pork butt, the Philly cheesesteak and the sweet chili chicken. All were GREAT!! The sweet chili chicken is s-p-I-c-y but if that's your thing, do it. The portions are HUGE. Share if you can or (even better) plan to bring 1/2 home for more eats. The tots were better than the fries, I just like a crispier fry. If you're the Swezey owner, come to Hoover, AL!! We don't have an option like you and we need more Swezey in our lives!

Food is awesome! Bar can get a little loud, but I'm old haha! Great service from the bartender, however! She was awesome!

I’m giving a 5-star review because small businesses in Cheatham County shouldn’t have to deal with any Karen-complaints bringing down their ratings. That said I wanted to give a little feedback just because I do love Sweezys and think there’s some little stuff they could improve on to make this place perfect. I was in there a few weeks ago and had some observations:-The room that live music is in NEEDS sound treatment. Once anyone starts playing, you are completely unable to hear anything else and the timbre of the music is so shrill because of the reflections from the glass windows and shape of the room. If you’re trying to just eat a meal (which like… there’s no bar in that room so you should know most people in there are just trying to eat) and aren’t drunk, it is an absolute bummer to experience. Put some sound panels up, a couple bass traps and baffles— it’ll make it so much more enjoyable. Make sure the artists are rolling off the high end if they’re doing their own sound.-Also this is incredibly nitpicky because your food is genuinely delicious but the portion sizes are ridiculous. I really can’t complain but every sandwich, every burger, is just absolutely stuffed to the damn gills with meat/cheese/veggies… and mayonnaise— like a ridiculous amount. It’s cool to get so much food there’s no need to turn every menu item into like a Big Boy Belly Buster Bigass Trucker style meal. I shouldn’t need a smock to enjoy a burger— make them wider, not taller.Other than that this is legitimately the best restaurant in town and I wish you many many years of continued success!
