I got 1lb of turkey to try although it was hot and tender it was definitely crockpot turkey. There was no smoke flavor at all. How can you call yourself a barbeque joint without brisket? You can see the crockpot juice in the bottom of my container. One sorry place for a so called BBQ joint.🤮

Trey is an absolute amazing person they forgot my drinks and I couldn’t come back and he brought them all the way to me and wouldn’t except my money which I feel terrible about but I really appreciate him driving 30 minutes to bring me 2 drinks

Pulled pork sandwich is really good! It rivals the Memphis area BBQ sandwiches. Potato salad is delicious as well. Definitely a must if eating in Portland!

This place was so good when I finished eating my to go order, I called them up to brag on them! They have been doing BBQ for 24 years. They make everything fresh every morning is what the lady told me. It definitely reflects in the food! Hands down best BBQ sauce I have ever tasted. Be sure to try the macaroni and cheese and the baked beans as well. For dessert be sure to try the banana pudding. I will be trying the oreo pudding next time.

I'd never been there before was excited to try, but very disappointed, I'm sorry to say. The place had a weird smell when I walked in, not an appetizing smell, almost like musty. The girl behind the counter gave me time to look over the menu. I ordered the pork but there wasn't much cole slaw, mac n cheese was too watery and I could have bought a can of better tasting baked beans at Food Lion cheaper. I'm glad I tried their food so now I know where I won't be going again. Sorry 😌
