I have loved eating at Milo's with my family and supporting local but it doesn't sit right with me when the owner tries to come and argue (aka gaslight) with me that my meal was right when it was clearly wrong. I ordered veggie sausage and that is not what I got in my meal. I've been a vegetarian for 20 years and I know the difference between the real thing (this isn't the first time I've had mistakes with real meat). Other family members present tried it and 100% could confirm it was real meat. A sweet server (shout out to Scarlett!) tried so hard to make it right and apologized on the owners behalf! My family and I were just not ok with the guy insisting that it was correct when it clearly wasn't but I didn't want to be that person and just keep arguing with someone who clearly wasn't going to try to make it right or compromise. Hence this review.

We had an excellent breakfast at Milo Coffee House! Everyone in our group loved their food, and their coffee drinks were outstanding. I ordered an iced coffee and the Mexican hash, which was a perfect blend of chorizo, guacamole, and scrambled eggs—rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was great. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Milo’s is delicious! A gem tucked away in Portland TN and one of the only great culinary spots outside of Nashville. The cook on the food is excellent and you can tell there’s a dedication to cleaner ingredients and quality. Example: handmade honey lavender syrup in the latte. Delicious plantains and would absolutely recommend the hashes.

I love Milo’s. It’s easily my favorite local dining area. Their food is always fresh (and delicious) and their establishment is very clean. They have great options for meat eaters AND vegetarians. They also have a good selection of food and high quality coffee. I can’t remember if it’s seasonal, it might be a spring/summer thing, but their smoothies are also super good and fresh.

First time eating there and had to say the place was amazing.. amazing food, the cooks were excellent, we had one waitress .. I think red hair was really sweet, kind , patient, and understandable with my older brother who is special needs .. then we had another that I guess took over for her .. couldn't think of her name .. she was okay.. kinda pushy when she would come to our table every 2 minutes seems like ... otherwise everything else was great !!
