Not just the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had possibly the worst food I’ve ever had at any so-called restaurant. Fried rice wasn’t fried it was steamed with like orange food coloring on it. Chicken was tough. It was just unbelievably bad.

I ordered Singapore noodles and asked to be spicy had absolutely no flavor. And I also ordered Mongolian chicken spicy. It had no flavor very disappointed. Neither item was spicy at all.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Sumner County. I’ve gotten lunch to go a few times and always had a delicious meal along with friendly service. I really like that they also carry authentic Chinese bottled teas.

Is Mr wok closed?
I’ve been going to this place for many years and it’s just as good every time. The food is fresh and appetizing with a large portion for an affordable price. The staff there is very friendly and nice. I highly recommend this place.

For the record, I always order the same thing (Hunan tofu) so I can't speak for their other menu items, but it's always incredible and the service here is really good. I'm pretty much a regular here and I've always been treated with friendliness. Highly recommend this place! ?

Me and my wife tried this place for the first time. Food was great with big portion sizes. Service was amazing, the man at the counter was very nice but I feel like the inside needs to be a little updated. Overall good experience!

Good, Kungpao chicken, pork lo mein, and beef & vegetables.
Don't let the plain atmosphere fool you.
This Mr. Woks in Portland, Tennessee is worth the 45 minute drive from my house.

Food was marginal at best. The fried rice was sticky and mushy. Lunch portions were small. Only 3 tables in restaurant. My husband sat at one and the employee told him he couldn’t sit at the bigger table. It’s after 2pm, and no one else has come in since we got here. Employees preschool aged son was barefoot with toys scattered everywhere- which I could deal with. Then he got in chair behind me rocking back on 2 legs of the chair, holding edge of table and repeatedly slamming his chair into mine. He had some kids video playing, and kept hitting a button to make a loud, obnoxious noise. He did this just as fast as his fingers would let him. After 5 min of this, I asked him to stop. But he didn’t. Then he started crawling around my table, under and around it. There were 3 idle chairs being stored directly behind my husband. The child climbed up inches behind my husband jumping up and down and banging his toy on the glass. Then he hopped from chair to chair and tried to climb over the room divider by the door. I was ready to leave at this point.

Dead bug on the floor should have been a give away. Slow to answer my questions about vegiterian availability was the other.I ordered tofu, vegiterian lomein, spring rolls and rice.I through up all night, I had to throw it out. It might be good for meat eaters but don't recommend it to anyone I know but hey could be the tofuOkay this is affecting my work the health department needs to inspect this place.More people will be getting sick, Oh my god I haven't felt this ucky and pain in over 15 years, I don't get sick. You seriously know you gave me bad food greed is not a trait of blessings, you deserve what's comming this is disgusting. I never leave bad reviews I keep my mouth shut, however as sick as I am because I was poisoned with your choice not to care. Shame on you, and bringing this to your attention no! Making the people and health department aware yesI'm so angry your food is making me keep throwing up, I cant stop this is gross

Both the beef and the chicken are stringy and usually tough. The flavor is OK, but certainly nothing special. The attitude of the people who work there, at least the ones I have encountered, are impolite, rude, inpatient, and act like they’re doing you a favor. Unless you know that you’re not going to be there long, I wouldn’t waste my time eating there. The atmosphere is certainly not welcoming, and it seems grimy, although I couldn’t see any dirt. I would drive to Bowling Green, Hendersonville, or even Nashville, if I had the time and wanted to get something other than restaurant chain Asian food.
