First two visits were excellent. Third visit on a Sunday night, they were understaffed for sure, and the food seemed to take a tumble. My favorite thing on the menu (my reason for going to Aubrey's), the sausage and pimento cheese appetizer, they've taken off the menu, which was heartbreaking! Luckily, I think the Papermill location still carries it. All told, I still think Aubrey's Powell is a good experience, and when not busy and understaffed it has been...
Always good. Consistency is what I like. We done in and do pick up often. I wish they had made it bigger though when they built the new one and made the bar area twice the size. I often go elsewhere because it is so packed.
I haven't gotten a bad dish until now. I ordered the Reuben sandwich. There was no cheese on it, the corned beef was dry and tough, I had to try and cut it with a knife. The sauerkraut was dry and taste less. There was very little thousand Island dressing in a tiny cup. I was expecting a dark rye bread,, but got a very light bearly rye bread.
And it cost $16.00 and came with a cup of soup.
