Hidden gem. Pretty basic breakfast food but it is made with care like the homecooking of a grandma in the South. Better than any Waffle House. Having more options for waffles would be nice but they are huge and good.
Old style diner, food cooked right in front of you. Loved the staff, very down to earth people. Had a very nice breakfast. loved what they did with the hashbrowns when I asked them to add onions. You have to go try that for yourself, I was definitely not disappointed. Had ham and eggs with toast and hashbrowns. Doesn't get more basic and they do it right. Nothing fancy so if you like the frills and need to spend more money to think you are getting something good go to a chain...
TLDR: Scotties is awesome!
The employees are super nice and efficient, we had a fairly large party and they got all of our complicated orders correct as well as the multiple separate tabs. Another customer offered their spare chairs to us so we could all sit together. All in all it was a great experience!
Parking: Parking is tight, but there's some gravel parking around the back of the building.
