Order a strawberry pie for carry out. I don’t know what they’re doing different but it was absolutely the worst strawberry pie we have ever had. Crust was dry and tasteless, strawberries were really sour. Not what we expected for the price we paid.
Mixed feelings on our visit. Teen liked the flavors but wanted more seasoning—salad bar was a hit. Our 8-year-old, who usually eats everything, also said it needed salt. Service was good, but most food lacked flavor, except the fried liver and fish, which were excellent. Salad bar had a nice selection. Buffet area was cramped in spots, and it was freezing inside so be sure to bring a jacket! Atmosphere was pleasant. Might try dinner or breakfast next time instead of lunch.
