There's no restaurant anymore. It has been closed for over a year now. It's an antique store now, but for some reason the old restaurant reviews are still here

Hidden gem in Knoxville! When out-of-towners ask for local restaurant recommendations, I always point them to The Front Porch for something different. Food and service is always wonderful. Seating is limited, but we've never had to wait more than a couple minutes. The owners and staff are always so sweet, and prices are fair.

My husband, myself & my father went to The Front Porch. My father had been there before, but my husband & myself had not. We absolutely loved it! Very clean, professional staff, excellent food at a very reasonable price, beautiful decor. Will definitely be back. I am local & look forward to sharing this beautiful place with other family & friends.

Excellent food. Great service. Nice portions. Fair priced. Nice presentation. Setting is lovely. Stopped in here for dinner by chance as we are travelling from Cincinnati. Well worth the stop. I’d check hours open first.

Went to the Front Porch for the first time, and must say I was very impressed with the food and service!! Started with the fried pickles, and they were the best I have ever had period.. The homemade ranch dressing for dipping was the best. Had a side salad with homemade blue cheese dressing that was fresh and tasty. For dinner we shared the grilled monterrey chicken with their homemade barbecue sause,, it was great! Felt like I was having dinner at my my mom's. Very impressed! Will be back to try more of their specialties. Thank you for a great meal.

What a delightful find on a trip to Knoxville! We stumbled onto this place and it has become a highlight of our trip. The menu! I had fried banana peppers (!) and a sweet version of hush puppies with honey butter. Yum! The cozy, homey feel of eating in a country kitchen was so soothing and calming after a long road trip. Bravo! I hope to come back someday.

Mixed review. One order for a club sandwich was deluxe. Thick sliced turkey, ham and crisp bacon grilled on pumpernickel rye and served with home cut potato chips. One order for chicken salad and fruit was a dud. Chicken salad was a goopy mess with way too much dressing. I left 90% on my plate and the wait staff never asked if I liked it. Fresh fruit was pineapple and cantaloupe. Restaurant is cute, service was average and food depended on the order. I will not be a repeat customer..

First time visit to this circa 1910 built historical home. Our meal was served on the screened in porch. The Fisherman's Platter is fantastic with plenty of leftovers. I highly recommend their primitive bread and trout cakes. Yummy!Take a look upstairs while visiting. Several rooms are open to walk through and purchase items.

We thought the food was delicious. I ordered a side salad and a shrimp poboy, my husband got the chicken tenders and fries, everything was fresh and flavorful. I love how charming the old house is, and the staff was super friendly. We'll definitely be going back!

We were over in the area and I had wanted to try The Front Porch so we swung over for a late lunch. The space is adorable and you fill like you are sitting in someone's home. Service was great and our drinks were topped off and we were checked on throughout our visit. The food was amazing. We tried two appetizers, spinach dip and fried banana peppers. Both were delish. Never had banana peppers fried before but will 100% be trying this again. We had steak and grits, shrimp and grits, cabbage side, and a kids steak and fries. Were so happy with everything and portions were large. The noise level inside was a bit high (one large table who didn't understand inside voices) but settled down once they left. Overall high marks and can't wait to come back and sit outside to enjoy our next meal.

Wonderful Restaurant, Crowded (Good food, not much space), wonderful historical location which is why it is small!Had a wonderful waitress and a wonderful time with family and friends!I would recommend highly for a friend "get together".5 out of 5

Stopped in for a lunch with wife and daughter after visiting the kids at school. Great cute little place built in early 1900s. Great food. Patty melts are flavorful and delicious. I had the PoBoy with catfish. Great French fries, next time we will get dessert if we have room.

Not being from the Knoxville area my husband and I want to try something new. In my google search the The Front Porch popped up and had some great review. We were so happy with the atmosphere, the food was delicious and the staff was welcoming. You won’t be disappointed dining here.

Valentine’s dinner date was an amazing 5-course meal, perfected made and served. Highly recommend trying this place, if you haven’t.
