There's no restaurant anymore. It has been closed for over a year now. It's an antique store now, but for some reason the old restaurant reviews are still here

Hidden gem in Knoxville! When out-of-towners ask for local restaurant recommendations, I always point them to The Front Porch for something different. Food and service is always wonderful. Seating is limited, but we've never had to wait more than a couple minutes. The owners and staff are always so sweet, and prices are fair.

The restaurant is closed. There's a for sale sign out front. Please don't waste your time driving here lie we just did.

I was a bit thrown off by the outside at first because it looks like a regular house. I am so glad we decided to go in anyways. The inside is very quaint and charming. So cute. I ordered a Buffalo Bleu burger with Jalapeño cheese grits. So DELICIOUS! I would definitely order this again. My daughter order the Steak and Fries (instead of chips). She enjoyed every bite. Will come back again. Thank you!

My husband, myself & my father went to The Front Porch. My father had been there before, but my husband & myself had not. We absolutely loved it! Very clean, professional staff, excellent food at a very reasonable price, beautiful decor. Will definitely be back. I am local & look forward to sharing this beautiful place with other family & friends.

Excellent food. Great service. Nice portions. Fair priced. Nice presentation. Setting is lovely. Stopped in here for dinner by chance as we are travelling from Cincinnati. Well worth the stop. I’d check hours open first.

Went to the Front Porch for the first time, and must say I was very impressed with the food and service!! Started with the fried pickles, and they were the best I have ever had period.. The homemade ranch dressing for dipping was the best. Had a side salad with homemade blue cheese dressing that was fresh and tasty. For dinner we shared the grilled monterrey chicken with their homemade barbecue sause,, it was great! Felt like I was having dinner at my my mom's. Very impressed! Will be back to try more of their specialties. Thank you for a great meal.

What a delightful find on a trip to Knoxville! We stumbled onto this place and it has become a highlight of our trip. The menu! I had fried banana peppers (!) and a sweet version of hush puppies with honey butter. Yum! The cozy, homey feel of eating in a country kitchen was so soothing and calming after a long road trip. Bravo! I hope to come back someday.

Just a short drive off the interstate and very worth it. Cool setup and great food.

Passing through the Knoxville area and took Yelp's recommendation. Glad we did. The place was hard to find and when we got here and saw the old home, we were a little hesitant, but SO glad we went in. Unique ambiance with a unique menu and great service! I had the trout cakes and loved them. The grits were wonderful and I loved the primitive bread appetizer too. If we pass through Knoxville again, we'll be back!

Mixed review. One order for a club sandwich was deluxe. Thick sliced turkey, ham and crisp bacon grilled on pumpernickel rye and served with home cut potato chips. One order for chicken salad and fruit was a dud. Chicken salad was a goopy mess with way too much dressing. I left 90% on my plate and the wait staff never asked if I liked it. Fresh fruit was pineapple and cantaloupe. Restaurant is cute, service was average and food depended on the order. I will not be a repeat customer..

First time visit to this circa 1910 built historical home. Our meal was served on the screened in porch. The Fisherman's Platter is fantastic with plenty of leftovers. I highly recommend their primitive bread and trout cakes. Yummy!Take a look upstairs while visiting. Several rooms are open to walk through and purchase items.

This was a cool little spot for the family and I to eat at. The service was amazing and the food tasted really good. We did like all the different options they to choose from. If you want an appetizer then we really recommend the fried pickles they had the perfect flavor and the homemade ranch went well with them. I had the steak bites, they were just okay. I think they forgot to add the special sauce at the end so they just brought it on the side. When we decide to go back I will try something different. My child really liked the tomato bisque soup with her grilled cheese, a staple you can't go wrong with. The outside dining was nice and had good views. We recommend giving this little place a shot, I don't think that you will be disappointed!
