The Southern Table offers great food and drinks in an awesome atmosphere with excellent service. The Shrimp Ceviche and Old Bay crackers are super tasty, while the Oysters are also recommended and considered phenomenal by customers. The medium rare hamburger and lacy fries were cooked to perfection, with the fries being especially delicious. A recent guest tried the pork belly potatoes for an appetizer, which were tasty but did not resemble burnt ends as described. The duck breast dish, served with smoky cauliflower mash and asparagus, had a cherry sauce that was well balanced, although the mash's strong smokiness was noted. The duck breast was crispy skinned and tender, though some found the portion small. The lemon crush drink was enjoyable, but a dark, dried lemon wheel was considered unnecessary. Overall, the service was good, and the staff were very pleasant. Despite some discomfort with the seating, many customers look forward to returning and exploring the appetizing menu further. The venison and fried catfish also received high praise, with one guest declaring the catfish to be among the best they've tasted.
