There aren't many foods that I'm a tough critic on BUT I do have high expectations when it comes to BBQ. That being said.. JD'S EXCEEDED them all! The business itself is basically the poster child for a "hole in the wall" restaurant. By that I'm saying if you sneeze at the wrong time then you're driving right past it & will miss out on what I consider the best BBQ in the area by a long shot. I've been loyal to my other BBQ joints for years but JD's is offically my go to for my BBQ needs. I've recommended them to many others & they have all been pleased as well so stop wasting time trying to decide where to go & head on to JD's. You can thank me later!

Best BBQ in the area....! Always delicious....the sides are terrific as well. Great beans, great slaw...the sauce is really good too....in a land of lots of good BBQ places, this is a standout!!
Wonderful little pit stop if you're passing through don't miss it especially if you're hungry. You won't regret it! Family owned and operated and it's a little jewel in the middle of nowhere. Just enough room to park get your food and go. There's also a convenience store right next door.It's on the hilltop so use extra caution when pulling out of the location. A lot of dump trucks and semi tractor trailers travel through that area especially during business hours Monday through Friday.

Kid-friendliness: It's just a little mom and pop hole in the wall so keep an eye on your children due to vehicles moving around the parking lot.
Parking: It's a little bit tight and it's gravel but there should not be a problem.
