This place doesn’t deserve even one star. Hot summer day, sunshine, and a group of people steadily streaming from a day of being on the river. You’d think they would have more than 2 teenagers working the place. We ordered and then waited one and a half HOURS for our food. I really can’t understand how, unless one of the workers had to drive out to Walmart, get the ingredients, drive back, and then cook. And the food was just so-so. We could have driven the 45 min home, gone through a McDonald’s drive-thru, brought food back to everyone, and still been finished before others that were waiting. And the food would have tasted better. Do not waste your time or money here.

Went on a late Saturday afternoon, had been here before. Place has changed food is too expensive for microwaved stuff. They had tripped a breaker so our food orders would be delayed on ribs and other misc foods why (I assumed microwave). Girl taking our order did not seem to want to be there. After about 20-30 minutes they brought out everyone's food except 1 person that also ordered ribs. Said it would take another 20 minutes to get hers. She cancelled. Not a great experience and the staff just kept looking out at us, it was creepy. Site is beautiful though. Good atmosphere.

I went there today with friends after being on the river all day. My friends ordered. I go to order and they told me and one other guy that we needed to wait to order as they were backed up. Wouldn't evwn let us order drinks while we waited. Ok. Two groups come in 5 min later and they order. Me and the other guy go up to order and we're told we need to wait again.My friends and I will never go to this place again. Between being treated rudely and the limited menu, I'd suggest finding somewhere else to eat.

Pretty food food and they serve beer!! Right on the river so if you are hungry after floating this is the place. You can take your rafts, tubes,, kayaks etc. out of the river here if you want. They don't really have a ramp or nothing but it can be done pretty easy.

Beautiful location and great food. And friendly staff. Who can ask for more. Friendly staff. I enjoyed the BBQ sandwich with hot slaw. Will definitely be back.

I ate there today for the first time. I had the pulled BBQ sandwich with hot slaw. It was incredibly scrumptious and filled me up. I had tater tots on the side and couldn't eat them all. The outdoor covered eating area is huge, the river on one side and a nicely landscaped pond on the other side sets a relaxing comfortable atmosphere. I'm definitely returning to get that sandwich again. :)

It's right on the river lots of open space outside with stools at tables. Games, watch the beautiful river flowing by, scenery is breathtaking everyone needs to try it and the owners are very very friendly. Spider Water Grill is newly-opened, pay them a visit visit will spread the word.

Went dualsport riding in Tellico Plains, arrived to Reliance later in the evening. The restaurant was closing but they invited us to eat and served us anyway. Beautiful view, great food, served fresh by a friendly staff that worked late to accommodate us. Ill be back.
The positives: The owner/manager came out to check on us and was very polite. Thank you for that.The outside area is pretty nice.Fountain coke was good.The negatives: All of the food was just warmed up...cooked at an earlier time, this can be ok sometimes, but this means the quality of the food will usually be lacking, which was definitely the case here.Our order was not taken properly either. We asked for no mayo, but got mayo anyway on both sandwiches.We ordered sweet teas that I suspect came out of a fountain that did not have the syrup consistency correct, it was basically water. And why aren't they making fresh sweet tea around here??Fried pickles was not cooked thoroughly.People talk about their burgers, but it is just a frozen patty. Come on people.They have a lot of work to do with their food to get more and better reviews.

Not a whole lot of polish here, but great food and super friendly staff! Hot ham and cheese was very good and BBQ sandwich was smoked just right. Good onion rings, too. If you're in Reliance, your options are not great, but Firewater was better than Iexpected. Well worth it!
