My husband and I found a gem in an out of the way restaurant with a view. My husband had the smoked pork and slaw and they brought out a savory chiabotta bread that he said was wonderful. I’m gluten free and enjoyed the special which was pan seared cod on quinoa and a side of crispy Brussels sprouts. We shared cheesecake for dessert. Everything was great tasting. The regular menu was reasonable price but the special was a bit pricey. The atmosphere was very pleasant and had a good vibe. We will be back with family even though it takes almost an hour for us from home.

Beautiful day, waterfall was performing exceptionally well after the rains. 75 degrees, light breeze and we sat outside on the lower deck. Excellent way to kiss winter goodbye.Parking: No big deal and there was a Farmers Market right there at the River. Good crowd and still easy to park.

So Friday, March 29 we were on our way again this time we went to Rogersville Tennessee. We found Amos Mill eatery so we decided to go there and have couple appetizers and we shared one meal and they don’t serve any alcohol but you are allowed to bring beer, wine, or liquor to the establishment they have a $10 corking fee And we were like well we’re not having anything that has a cork the girl told us we could bring our beers in but she didn’t say that they would charge you the $10 corking fee to bring your beer in so we found that on our receipt at the end of the meal so I ordered the cheese sticks with some marinara sauce as my appetizer my wife ordered the fried green tomatoes with a remoulade sauce as her appetizer, we shared a pulled pork barbecue sandwich and fries. Everything look good when the food was delivered, though as we got to my appetizer, I noticed the cheese sticks were actually round patties, which I really liked unfortunately, they poured the marinara sauce over the top of them, instead of a side condiment of marinara sauce so they were a little soggy they weren’t crispy like a cheese stick should be, but they were good. I would order them but this time I would tell him to leave the marinara sauce separate the fried green tomatoes had good flavor, they were crispy when they first came out and then we noticed no sauce, but they were stacked up and then we noticed the sauce was in between each tomato which made the bottom of that one and the top of the other one soggy so all the tomatoes got soggy before she could even eat them all so they need to give the sauce on side the french fries were hot, but my opinion were a little overdone. The pulled pork had good flavor, but it was dry and I didn’t care for the barbecue sauce but all in all everything had good flavor. Just it needs to be presented different sauces on the side, and the pork needs to be more moist always save the pork juice when you’re done so the meat can soak in. It works much better for me. We will go back and I will order them again. I’ll just have them do things different but I didn’t agree with us. The $10 fee they should’ve told us that they’re gonna charge you $10 for bringing in your alcohol wine or beerall in all place to go on the weekend and nice scenery across the street waterfalls and all I will post pictures but just so you know, we will go back and try other things and try again. We went to other places that day in Rogersville. Stay tuned for that post.

I arrived right as they opened. I got the smothered chicken breast, broccoli and slaw. The chicken was good but it was half of a chicken breast. The broccoli was seasoned and the slaw was a little on the vinegary side. I know that is the way some people like it. It wasn't bad, but I'm used to more of a sweet mayo base. I did have their NY Cheesecake with blueberries. It look like a lunch portion size. I don't know if there is a difference between the lunch and dinner plates, because I have only been there for lunch.Parking: It's a rough washed out road leading up to the restaurant, so be careful. There is no designated ways to park. Just follow the direction of the first person there.

Ordered take out. 2 steak dinners and a kid’s chicken tender meal. My wife’s medium steak was extremely well done. So dry she threw it away. My medium rare steak was completely raw also had to be thrown away. My daughter’s chicken tenders and fries were the only thing that was remotely good. Staff was kind place looked clean atmosphere is awesome but the food went in the trash and we are out $47 and having a frozen pizza for dinner. Disappointing.

Ribs were not smoked, just baked and covered with barbecue sauce, but still very tender. Primavera was very good. Fries were on the salty side, but hot and crisp. Cole slaw was mayo/vinegar based. The peach cobbler was a nice consistency, not as sweet as expected. Servers were very young, reasonably attentive. We live nearby, so we'll be back.

Went to Amis Mill with some friends and sat on the heated patio (February). The view of the dam and Big Creek was beautiful and the atmosphere was friendly. I just had a salad, but was very generous and delicious. Prices were reasonable. Next time I'm saving room for some peanut butter pie!?Parking: The parking lot is sloped, but then this IS eastern Tennessee...everything is on a slope! Gravel lot, no problems maneuvering. Great historic venue in beautiful setting.

To start i got the queso n chips, the queso was definitely from a can. I also got the blackened salmon wich looked and tasted like something you would get from a dollar general meat department if they had one. The queso and macaroni was definitely from the same can the chips and queso was from. Its been a couple of years since I ate there it used to be an upscale place to go.
