Best burger in R'ville.... They are going through the start up shake down. The menu and selection is a work in progress, but that does not mean you should not stop in for a sit down meal. The prices are very reasonable, nice place for a sit down lunch meeting. Service is very attentive. They also have an interesting International desert.

My husband would recommend the Panini, the Bacon Cheese Burger was amazing and if you get the opportunity have the Malva!!!
I saw someone make a comment about her dog being there. Yes, he is in the building but he is a service dog and does not bother you or come around where you are eating. I understand service animals and have seen many in restaurants by customers and not offended by those either so not really sure why the complaint. He did come to me once I approached and acknowledged him, with permission of course.

My husband and I met my cousins there for lunch and 3 of us got sick. They were out of musturd so what little we had we had to share and the ketchup was the same way.Our waiter kept asking if we were done so the next table could have. Its a beautiful sitting with the river behind it,but we will not be returning

We had an early dinner a few weeks ago right before it got so hot outside. We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the river. The two of us shared the potato skins appetizer and we both ordered a burger and fries. The portions were good, the food was great, the price was typical for this type of sit down restaurant, and the service was perfect (not annoying but they did not ignore us). We were too full to try the dessert, but maybe next time.

My husband and I both are sick to our stomach's. The food was horrible ? we will not be going back and do not recommend the food at all. We are experienced travelers and always love trying local restaurants but the over abundance of curry in a mushroom gravy served on hamburgers and the over abundance of thyme in mushroom gravy served with a thick gooey gummy breading on a thick chicken breast that was barely cooked which was suppose to be a chicken schnitzel. Absolutely horrible. The waitress was extremely nice, the place is very nice but the food is horrible. Waste of money for sure.

I ordered a butter chicken. Rice was a soggy blob. Very little chicken and the little chicken that was their was tough as shoe leather. I don't know what to say about the rest of their food. But if you are going to attempt Curry and rice dishes do it right instead of runing peoples first experience. Total disappointment!!! my dinner was but an attempt... Do better

Took my family in to have some lunch. Ordered an appetizer and our food. Appetizer came which was a very minimal portion for the price. Ordered ham and cheese lunch special, chicken tenders and my other grandaughter ordered Mac n cheese. Waited over an hour never got our food. Ordered another appetizer it came still no food. Finally we decided to leave. Was told are food was almost ready. Did I mention there was only 3 other customers in the place at the time. Waitress was very ugly when we decided to leave. I offered to pay for our drinks and appetizers. Which she refused said they would take the loss. Never again will I step foot in this place

Me, my daughter, and her father came to eat here on June 14th for my daughter's second birthday and walking in I was surprised to see a big dog roaming around inside the establishment going to people's tables and just roaming free. my daughter was playing in the children's area when the dog noticed her and immediately went over to her and got in her face and almost jumped on her (the dog was already taller than my daughter while standing on all 4 legs) so her dad picked her up to get her away from the dog (as she is allergic to dogs anyways). when he picked my daughter up to walk away from the dog he begin jumping on him trying to get my daughter. the food was good but I don't understand how it's acceptable to have a dog (I think a German shepherd) roaming around in an indoor establishment and allowing it to go up to peoples tables while eating. I love animals as much as the next person but not at a sit down restaurant coming up to my table while eating and not one who tried to get my 2 year old out of her dad's arms. we would come back for the food but we won't be back due to the dog inside

Southern Comfort is my favorite restaurant in Rogersville. I love the atmosphere and that it is pet friendly. The food is delicious and made to order. It's nice to have the opportunity to try foods from a different culture. The owner is from South Africa and has integrated some South African dishes on the menu. Everyone who works here is friendly and very welcoming. They provide great service, great food, and a laid-back atmosphere! I just can't say enough about how great Southern Comfort is!

Great restaurant in Rogersville. The burgers have a really good, juicy flavor and the fries come in individual fry baskets. The onion rings appetizer is great for sharing and the pulled pork special is very tasty. The malva cake which is absolutely delicious is the perfect finish to a good meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The view from the outside porch is beautiful.
