Yeah, called in a pizza & bag of ONION RINGS, to pickup( had my own box). Said it would take bout 20 mins. I arrived in bout 30 mins. Was told it would a few more minutes. Observed a table of 6-7 people already seated and been eating. I sat to wait. While waiting, a pizza was delivered to their table with appolizies from server (for delay, i assume). Upon arriving home and checking food, found pizza dough was half cooked, and bout half an onion with breading was in bag of onion RINGS! AND when i called, all they could do was " i appolize for that"! This their last week being open, justifies poor quality of food AND service! I wont be back &will let others know my experience

I did not try the food because I wasn't hungry but I must say the people inside this establishment were so friendly they made me feel like family. The next time I visit Rogersville I intend to go to Taste of Chicago and then I can rate it properly. I find the downtown area of Rogersville to be absolutely enchanting. Everyone can benefit from a visit, in my opinion.

We stopped in for a couple of hot dogs. Being from Chi-Town we were pleasantly surprised. It was really good! The staff is very friendly. We will definitely be back. It's nice to see Rogersville with new places. I love that town. Support the small businesses!!

Eat here often. Good burgers and dogs. On Main Street downtown. Great pizza too. Staff is great, good seating.

My Little boy has multiple food allergies. The chef came out and spoke to my son(9), together they came up with something he could safely eat. He had an allergy friendly pizza burger. He LOVED it! My daughter and I had the burgers and fresh cut fries..delicious! We also had a thin cheese pizza which also did not disappoint. We will definitely be back! Thank you again Taste of Chicago staff for taking care of my boy!

The decor and the local art for sell was absolutely beautiful. The sausage and pepperoni deep dish and Italian beef sandwich were delicious and reminiscent of dishes one would find in the Windy City. Will definitely eat here again.

Chicago is a long way from Rogersville. Thank God. This fantastic venue opened in July 2020, during the peak of Covid. The owner, Cody, was born and raised in Rogersville, and he is a superb host. Yet again, the success of any restaurant is it’s people, and with Cody at front of house, and Joey in the kitchen, this place could teach many, many others how to do it. The warmth of the welcome, and the charm of the people, is matched by the quality of the food, which is exceptional. Whether eating in or taking out, The Taste of Chicago is better than most of those venues that claim in Chicago to serve Chicago-style pizza. The deep dishes here are sublime, and if the rest of the menu is anything to go by then you could order blind and get a meal to remember. We thought about the “deep fried cheesecake”, but the nearest cardiology ward is a mile away, and that’s too far to risk ordering such an insane dish. So, if you want some amazing food in the company of lovely people come to The Taste of Chicago. Outstanding.

Went with my mom and dad for lunch. Very nice prices and very good tasting food. Staff are really friendly. The size of the portions are huge! Come hungry. Really great place to eat.

Currently not open on Saturday, so had to go while I was off during the week. The Chicago hotdog isn’t for everyone but you need to at least try one. I love them. The Italian Roast beef sandwich is really good, and we ordered a whole deep dish pizza to go. It must’ve weighed 10lbs(maybe) and took us 2 meals to eat. The crust is so good I’d almost order a deep dish with just the crust. I must say the hotdog was my favorite overall. I recommend this restaurant.

They make all there dough and sauces. We had a Chicago pizza and it is what I would get there. The next visit we will try thin crust. In the parking lot I saw a couple with pizza boxes and I asked how it was. They had subs and talked about how thick they were and it was hard to finish. They were taking 1 of each pizzas home for there kids. Fun to meet in a parking lot and get so much information and so much enthusiasm. I'll be back this week.
