Some friends invited my wife and me to dinner at the Wolf River Cafe. I had never been or even heard of it but it was an amazing dining experience. The service was exceptional. The food was delicious. We will be returning.

Took the wife and two sons. Got a Philly cheesesteak with peppers no onions had fries on the side. The Philly came out with just meat and cheese only. The sandwich was very small, along with about 10 fries on the side. Very small portion of food. My wife ordered a double cheeseburger with a side of fries. The burger was a single and about the same amount of fries. Needless to say, the price with sweet teas to drink was $32.00. The atmosphere of the workers was very unfriendly. If I were passing through, I wouldn't waste my money on stopping because you will walk away very disappointed and still hungry.

This restaurant is amazing. We stopped here on the way to visit some relatives in a neighboring city. I had been craving some catfish and that’s the first thing that I ordered. I ate every bite. It was the best catfish I have ever eaten then I had the blackberry collar for dessert, which was also amazing. Wish I had room for the other desserts. Everything looked wonderful. The service and the staff was excellent I love this place and I will definitely be back

I went here on a Saturday about 2:30. It was probably about 90% full of families. Seating was immediate but table service was not. I ordered the hamburger steak and a portion was huge the Patty was probably about as thick as a quarter pounder Patty but about 5 inches in diameter. They do give you the option of having sauteed peppers and onions on top. It was served with steak fries which were good. I had a side of deviled eggs which tasted pretty homemade, better than some places I've had them. The sweet tea isn't too sweet. There's one table outside on the porch to eat.

Super cozy southern kitchen. Great food. That pull pork bbq was unreal. Ties with Outlaw bbq in Munford, TN. Super sweet people too. Best okra and key line pie. We had a heck of good night with the food. Just best after best. There's usually a small wait bc the place is small. Parking isn't the best but there is overflow parking beside and across the street.

Food was good but came to the table warm not hot. We ordered catfish, shrimp, onion rings and fries for dinner. My husband and I ordered blackberry cobbler with ice cream for dessert. I was disappointed that the cobbler came to the table cold. I’ve always had it warm from other restaurants. The flavor was very good. I will ask for the cobbler to be warmed up next time. Our waitresses were very friendly.

I had the worst waitress , twice , two years apart . No concept of an appetizer , comes before your meal , right ? Not her , reminded her , went to kitchen , came back with appetizers , went to kitchen , brought our meal . If the food wasn’t excellent , I’d never return . And then , had to stand in a to go pickup line , to pay my bill , 20 more minutes wasted . As a matter of fact , mad all over again , not ever returning , really crappy service .
