What a treasure we found on our way home. ❤️ Very sweet waitresses, excellent food, just like home! 👍 And fast, too. My garden salad was enough for a meal, w homemade ranch 😋 I got a burger 🍔 which was gone in minutes. Very delicious. And mom got pulled pork BBQ sandwich. I saw hot roast beef smothered in gravy that looked like 2 meals. No room for dessert, but hope we'll pass by again soon. When you need to feel like mom cooked....

Used to be great service and food but last four meals I have ordered for pickup have been horrible ! French fries and onion rings have tasted like fish, been put on hold for over 10 minutes while walking in and still on hold while their phone laying there with me on hold to place order! And today my usually favorite meal which is the roast beef was so dry and like old or burnt on edges. Until this place gets back to what it once was think I’m done!

We have been coming for almost two years after moving out to Rutledge. Emma from day one has been our preferred waitress and she always remembers us when we come in. It could be three days or three months, but she is always so cheerful and happy to see her regulars. The food is always good, the atmosphere is very “homey,” and the ladies are always so friendly. Highly recommend just stopping based on the service ❤️

Me and my husband use to come often we love the catfish best around I have eaten catfish at several restaurants we hadn't been in almost a year (due to my health issues-fatty liver etc) until today my sister in law wanted to take us, the food was good not as good, the waitress never checked on us one time brought our appetizer after food after we reminded her my sister law had to get her own to go boxes cause the waitress never checked on us and it wasn't busy, it was my niece bday we told the waitress she said I will remember that she didn't when I was there for my bday I got a free large dessert my husband had to help eat it, my husband said the atmosphere had changed too, it will be awhile before we go back if we go back again.

Have always gotten good food and service here. One of the few places that actually browns the gravy and I love that they will grill your toast if you ask. About time to make the trip again from Knoxville. Don't change!

Amazing down home country food! The meatloaf was so delicious! ? I do have 1 small complaint thou, the teenager's working there were staying on their phones and being very talkative and laughing loudly. ? Would have loved to enjoy the Christian music that was playing. ✝️
