Great food, even better folks that own this. go get you some grub they have a regular menu and the hot bar with meat and three or all you can eat. the waitress was super nice and kept our glasses full and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. thank you for a wonderful time and we will see you soon.

I usually love this place, but man was the lady serving food at the plate lunch counter today, Sat. Oct 5th around noon a BIG rude meany. She just grunted, “for here or to go!?….what else!?” No smiles, nothing! She did the same to other patrons after me, or I would’ve taken it personally. It honestly ruined the whole experience for me, and I sure hope that she is quickly replaced or retrained. You go to a meat and three for great food, and sweet southern service, but that was left out today. Every other time I’ve been here, the food and service were great. Servers and staff normally go out of their way to be kind and welcoming, so today’s experience is was unusual but reflected very poorly.

The cafe has that hometown feel, the food is delicious, and you could not ask for better service. It's my favorite spot for breakfast. Highly recommend the western omelet and also the cinnamon roll pancake!

St. Joe Cafe is a hometown delight. Cafe is family owned & u are always greeted by warm smiles & welcome when u arrive. Food bar that is available for breakfast & lunch offers delicious homemade meals. Plus the salad bar is great & gives u options for unusual items like loaded pimento cheese, homemade chicken salad, & numerous vegetables that are rarely seen on a salad bar. U can enjoy all the wonderful items on meat & vegetable bar & salad bar or order from their menu. Saturday mornings is crowded with folks ordering various breakfast platters off the menu. Sundays are always crowded with folks swarming in to eat the Sunday breakfast bar starting around 11am. The St. Joe Cafe opens at 7am Tuesday thru Sunday until 3pm on Sunday, but they close at 4pm Tuesday thru Saturday. Lisa, the owner is usually in the back cooking or overseeing entire kitchen operation. However, she pops out of the kitchen frequently to talk to her customers. She has a smile & personality that makes locals & strangers feel at home. Plus, two of Lisa's daughters, are always on hand to keep customers happy & invite them back.

Vegetarian options: The salad bar has numerous raw vegetables & pastas that are not common on salad bars. The lettuce always looks fresh & high quality such as green leaf as opposed to iceberg.

First experience and last!! We witnessed just as we sit down to start eating😤a worker that was handling a garbage can and the rug near the hot bar and waited on an older gentleman that walked in the door without washing her hands or wearing any gloves.....the grilled pork chops were dry and the turnip greens were scorched.....We had 1meat 2sides and 2 drinks and was charged almost $43.......but we had a good outing after all 😁We Love Tennessee ❤️

One of the friendliest places to get the best home cooking. It was so good that I wanted to propose to the cook. In all sincerity, don't miss out on it.

Their service and food has declined in the last year or so. Today 4/27/24 I went in for breakfast. Ordered an omelet and potatoes. After 15 minutes or so I inquired about my order. She told me it was coming right out. After another 5-10 minutes I still didn’t have any food. I left money on the table for coffee and left.I told the gal at the register that I couldn’t wait any longer. Her terse reply was “next time maybe you should go to McDonalds. They might be quicker”I have been eating there for years however I won’t be back.
