Food is always the best. Service is always fairly good. Always takes a while to get the food, but well worth the wait as they prepare it fresh. There were too many kids tonight, so they were extremely loud, and they were running in and out, leaving the door open constantly, and we were sitting by the door. Apparently, their parents weren't concerned about any other patrons. There were 8 kids in the building as it is a very small building, making it very loud.

Very nice people, happy old chap and lovely waitress. They fed me well, I ate well, and now I leave this review as a thank you a lovely time in a peculiar place.

Amazing portions, great flavor, and excellent service. We will definitely be back! Reservation highly recommended as the dining room is very small. Worth it!

Ran across this place yesterday on a motorcycle ride. Normally you need a reservation but I was able to get in for an incredible meal. Had Gospel Creole. Really amazing. Best part of the meal was getting to speak at length with Papa Boudreaux. Truly an amazing place. I will be back.

Great food. Huge portions but a bit pricey. Eclectic atmosphere.
Food was fabulous. Would love to go again, it’s just a little far.
My wife and l ate there for the first time. The food and service was awesome. Definitely will be back.
Hands down the best place to get Cajun food outside of New Orleans. The food is...it's hard to describe how good it is. It's worth the drive. This isn't a restaurant. It's an experience. It's an event. And it's just Damn. Good. Food. If you can get a table...this is the place to go.
One of the best places I've ever eaten!
Excellent

Just moved to the area from Louisiana and Poppa Boudreaux's is authentic Louisiana food.
Been a while
Rather disappointing. The fried oysters didn't even taste like oysters. They were not good. The entrees lacked the robust flavors you would normally find in Louisiana cajun food. Portions are huge. The chocolate bread pudding was fabulous. Service was slow but very friendly. I can now say we tried it, but we won't be returning.

Can y'all stop using the phrase "spot on" and just say the choice of food works?
