I cannot say enough how much warm memories has left! I ate there for the whole week while staying in Savannah for work and the food was amazing all times. There were always at least 2 options for the main course and a bunch of sides to chooses from. It tasted like home-made food you would eat at your grandms's house for a mere 11 dollars.

A couple words about the atmosphere - it is a simple but charming place and the waitresses are the sweetest ladies I've ever met!

I am from Ohio and my friend and I stopped in for breakfast. I ordered hash browns and gravy. He ordered the bacon plater. The food was so cold it was hard to even eat it. My friend said his food was cold also.We wasn't ask if we needed anything cause I would have rather eaten the biscuit (which was delicious) the gravy was yuck l would have like to have butter & jelly. It seemed the regulars that was there and came in was very well taken care of. A guy walk in and with in 5 minutes he had his food I will never eat there again when we come through.

My husband and I had a bad experience at Dae Break this morning. I ordered the cheese omelet which was good and hot. It was obvious it had been made to order. The coffee was good. The grits were instant and it was a very small portion for $3.00. I asked the waitress about the small portion and she said it was "one packet". My husband ordered the sausage platter. It was terrible. Everything was cold and the sausage and biscuits appeared to be from yesterday. They were both dried out. The cold biscuits appeared to be overcooked. The bowl of gravy was completely cold. When he told the waitress, she took his plate and stuck it in the microwave. Twice. That did not help the quality of the sausage or the biscuits or the cold eggs. He ended up not eating much of anything. We will not go back.

This was our first trip to this restaurant. The food was very good and hot as was the coffee. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The things that we were not impressed with was the floor was not swept, the tables and window sills were dirty and needed cleaning and when the regulars came in they were quickly taken care of rather than wait. We probably will not be back.

Omg best breakfast ever the biscuits and gravy are to die for, brings me back to my childhood at mamaws house. I get the bacon platter comes with 3 big slices of bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 homemade delicious biscuits and gravy all for $6 you can't beat that. Only open on weekdays which makes me sad.
