Food has always been great. It’s our go to Mexican restaurant in Savannah!

Good food but terrible at following directions. I asked for extra cheese on inside of quesadilla and they just poured cheese dip all over it 🤦🏼‍♂️maybe they just speak poor English.

Some if not the best Mexican Food I've ever had. First Mexican Restaurant that brought out bean dip with the salsa. Speaking of the salsa, best I've ever had.

We were camping at the Green Acres RV campground and decided to walk over and try this restaurant. It’s not the most eye appealing on the outside, but the food and service were amazing. Their house made guacamole is delicious!!! Some of the best guacamole I’ve ever had. My husband got fajitas and I got the chimichanga trio. Both were delicious! I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food and most places are just ok. However, this one was definitely worth a try. Large portions, so come hungry. Great prices also. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

If I could give this restaurant a zero star, I would. I never do reviews but this was such a bad experience I felt I needed to. I placed a to go order and they said it would be a 15 minute wait. I drive to the restaurant and it ended up being a 45 minute wait for two enchiladas and a cheese dip. Due to the triple the lead time, I wasn’t able to eat before I went to my appointment in counce. Also, the manager didn’t offer for me to sit down while I wait and there is no waiting area so I stood awkwardly waiting for my order. The manager then rudely and disrespectfully told me to move. If you want someone to move, you do it respectfully and politely by asking. Not like a drill Sargent. I’ll never be eating there again. They didn’t give me plastic ware so when I went to eat after getting to my destination, I had nothing to do it with. Food was absolutely disgusting and the atmosphere was stale and you could hear a pin drop in there. I literally got sick after taking a few bites of the chicken enchiladas. The only thing edible was the cheese dip. I’ll never be straying from my normal Mexican place I go to- El Portrillo and I don’t recommend anyone waste there money at this nasty Mexican place. What really ticked me off the most was when an old lady went to checkout and wanted to tip them a large tip and the manager was laughing and making fun of her for not being able to add up her total with her tip. I wanted to say “you should just be grateful you’re getting a tip and help this sweet lady add up her total instead of acting like a fool.” But I just shook my head! Never again.
