Weâve dined here several times and hadnât been in many months, so we thought weâd try it for my husbandâs birthday. Being hispanic myself and coming from living in an area up north where there are a ton of excellent Mexican restaurants I didnât have super high expectations, nor did I expect it to be on the same level as what I grew up on. The food here is usually average, and what you would expect from small town tex-mex mexican cuisine. That being said, the food we received was not only below that, it was so terrible that I couldnât even finish it. The meat has zero flavor except for being salted to death and tasted almost like it was going bad. My husband received a very small portion with hardly any shrimp, and said it tasted extremely bland and devoid of any flavor. This is the first time heâs ever complained about food from a Mexican restaurant. I wouldâve complained and sent the food back, but I didnât out of respect for my husband so he wouldnât be embarrassed. Plus despite us telling them it was his birthday, he didnât receive anything. I donât think weâll be going here again and we will definitely try out the other restaurants in town, because to be honest I donât think they could be as bad as this one was. I like supporting small town businesses and really hate to leave a review like this. But for the food to be this bad really is simply unacceptable. On the positive, the new addition looked nice and the main part of the restaurant was clean and we enjoyed the chips and salsa.

This is my go to place, it is THE BEST mexican restaurant within 20 miles!! The margaritas are dangerous! This is the only place you can find chicken tortilla soup in the area, and it is chock full of yummy chicken, tortilla stripe, onions, cilantro,sliced avocado & peppers in a really rich chicken broth. Chile verde is magnificent! Slow roasted pork chunks deeply seasoned with a verde sauce on top. The best thing about this place is the staff!!! I travel to other rest

Good food and great atmosphere. While we were there. They were doing karaoke and my wife participated. Had a great time. The owner visited us multiple times during our dinner and/ karaoke. Very friendly, great staff. Great service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had lunch with wife, 1 son, and mother-in-law, food and service were excellent. I pulled up the pics of a menu but it was pretty old. I took the liberty of taking pics of the new prices on the latest menu.

Pricing there self out of busses we usually get faita hilisco and a party pack usually 50 bucks now 70 ridiculous

Best Chori-Queso in the entire area. Meaty, with thick creamy queso. The carne asada tacos are also terrific! Packed full of steak and accompanied by tasty green sauce, fresh cut onions and fragrant cilantro. The top-shelf margarita had an excellent kick and the taste of agave was perfect paired with the tacos. The music was upbeat and very Mexican exactly what I enjoy for a Taco Tuesday. Table service is also amazing and even the seaters/greeters had great vibes.
