Wonderful wines there.
Come hungry. The restaurant is amazing!
Went to the dessert wine shop and they wanted $10 to taste.$10 at the cider house and $10 at the winery or for $20 I could do all 3. No free tasting and your payment for tasting does not come off your bill. So we could pay $40 for tasting that was free last year. We left and won't be back. We went every time we came and usually left with more than $100 in cider or wine plus we always got apple pies. Apple Barn will cease to exist if they don't change. Sad.
Great experience. Kevin had a great depth of knowledge and was very down to earth.
Loved this little street and cluster of “apple” stores!
So good! Every time. Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes and grilled corn my fave
I visited this place on my trip to Tennessee, and it has awesome wine.
I don't have words to describe how good these drinks are. I highly recommend giving them a try. They gave me 2 shots to sample for free. I loved the taste of the apple pie and raspberry flavored wine. I bought a bottle of each.
I've enjoyed the wines and ciders here for years. Had a chance to try the Dessert Wine Shoppe offerings this past weekend and OMG. Tried 3 of the 5 and they were a far cry from what I'd expected. Perhaps it was because they were served warm but they tasted of hot Busch Light. Just horrible. I pray that these never make it into a wine club shipment.
Nestled in the charming heart of Gatlinburg, the Apple Barn Dessert Wine Shoppe is a delightful stop for anyone with a sweet tooth and a love for cozy vibes. While their dessert wines are undeniably delicious (think rich, fruity flavors perfect for sipping by a fire), it was their adorable candles that truly stole the show! Shaped like mini desserts and smelling like freshly baked pies, these candles are almost too cute to burn. The staff was warm and welcoming, offering samples and smiles in equal measure. Whether you're wine-tasting, gift-shopping, or just browsing, this little shop is a must-visit for a dash of sweetness in the Smokies!
Nice selection of apples and apple butter. Very friendly folks. I hope to return soon.

Aleashia insured we had an amazing time. She is very knowledgeable, fun and I highly recommend working with her.
We stop here at least once every trip.
We went for the wine tasting specifically! We tried all wines for $5! Left with 4 bottles and 2 mixes!
