I've eaten at the apple barn at least 10 times and unfortunately last week was really poor food quality. The pot roast was luke warm and tasted reheated. The fritters are always spot on but really disappointed with the food quality considering how expensive it is to eat there now.
You get a lot of food for your money. The catfish was really good, everything else we had was mediocre. It was like a step up from Crackel Barrel. (And I don’t mean that in a bad way)
Great food, great service from this restaurant. It is definitely a family friendly place to try out and enjoy. They offer great home cooked style foods and deserts. The apple appetizers are a great addition as well. I got the sampler but everyone I was with enjoyed their meal as well.
