From the reservations to the check, everything was perfect! You get what you pay for here, so even though this restaurant is a little more expensive than others, it is always worth it.
Our server seemed more interested in her smoke break than in her job. I had to remind her that I ordered soup. When she finally brought it, it only preceded my meal by about 2 minutes—insufficient time to enjoy the very good soup. After completing our meal, we sat for 15-20 minutes before she showed up to take my CC and complete payment. The food was great, as always, but the service needed lots of work.
We happened upon this place about 5 years ago. Food was impeccable, as was the service. We've been back twice over the last few years and I cannot seem to get a repeat of the 1st experience. This last time, although the waiter was friendly, he was inattentive. There were 6 of us, we ordered 3 appetizers but only received two. When we inquired about this our server assured us he would check on it. 10 minutes later, we still did not have our 3rd appetizer. We told him to forget...
