We had a group of 14. Everyone of our food came out cold. One of our guest never got his food until everyone finished their dinner. The quality of the food is bland. For example, if you order cheese enchiladas, they just put cheese in it and roll up the flour tortilla. I would not recommend this place.
It was OK. Not great. Chips were old. Small portions. Felt miserable for the rest of the day. Salsa was good.

Awesome place! Finally found great authentic Mexican food on par with the places we're used to in Chicago! El Eslabon is on the top of our list... we're local and will be here regularly.Tried a sampling of tamales, tacos El pastor, Chile rellenos, enchiladas and the huerache...and of course margaritas! Absolutely delicious! Our server was super nice, attentive and food came out quick. I highly recommend El Eslabon.
