Awesome food ..... Awesome service

Really good Mexican restaurant without all the tourist traffic. We stopped in for dinner a couple minutes after happy hour, but the waiter still gave us drinks at happy hour prices. That alone is worth five stars, however the food was also really good and the service was great as well. I will definitely stop in again.

On vacation and wanted something good for dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff was amazing. We will definitely be back next year

Only reason it doesn't get 5 star is that it's pricey as heck but so yummy! Highly highly recommend ❣️

No one would answer the phone. Tried calling to place an order for 15 minutes

My girlfriend ordered our meal online, and we arrived at Machetes Restaurant at the time given for pickup. Since my girlfriend was tired from working all day, I went in to pick up the food. The guy at the counter asked for my name and started ringing up our order, so I paid him. I didn’t really know what we had ordered, but I usually get what she does so we can try it together.

Then, the gentleman at the counter tells me there’s a mistake and heads to the kitchen. When he returns, he asks me to call my girlfriend to confirm our order. I told him she was in the car, so I went to get her. When she walked in, they asked her about our order and then informed us that they had canceled it. They said the new order would cost $6 more.

At that point, I told them to keep it. This is yet another place where I won’t be spending my money in the future. What a joke. There is a Mexico restaurant on every major road

The search is over! Everything was made fresh and made on site and you can taste the difference. We've been to hundreds of Mexican restaurants in various states and this was the best salsa, guacamole, chips, house margaritas, Arroz con polo, quesadillas, and burrito that we've ever had at any of them. They make the guacamole fresh three times daily. Leslie was amazing gave us an extra plate for the kids and worked around the kid issues we were having at our table. They brought extra chips and napkins without asking. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Parking: 25-30 free spots around the strip mall
