Slow service food was just ok will not return

Food was pretty bland. Didn't use any sort of spices. Service was very basic.

We both got the carne asada tacos. They were very good, along with chips and guacamole. We were hoping to dine in and try the margaritas, but couldn’t make it time. Would come back to dine in

Honestly ordered from here a few times, food is subpar but not horrible. What is, ordering from uber eats and not getting cheese dip that cost twice the amount it does usually. Then calling to talk to a manager and getting hung up on because they can’t take accountability 🫢😬 all good tho. I’ll take my business elsewhere now. Not worth it.

There was a bug in my food, with only a 10% discount. Margs were on the sweeter side. Salsa was good.

Good spot to get some Mexican food. The salsa is AMAZING - 5 stars! The cheese dip is also really good with fresh chips. Strong margaritas. We ordered the fajita quesadilla, it does not come with rice and beans so we got a side, enough food to share. Overall, one of the better Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the area.

Im from Chicago living here 10 years and this by far is the best Mexican restaurant on the parkway,,street taco with pork tips undeliverable,,the burritos taste amazing and are the size of a nerf football,,people are friendly and quick ,,,,at least once a week if not more i eat here,,addicted to tacos 😋

Decided to try this place this past Saturday 8-2-2025 and I'll go ahead and get this out of the way. If you want good Mexican food with great quality and portions just go with Don Marcos. We ordered from here for the 1st AND last time. I order the shrimp, steak, and chicken fajitas meal (Texas fajitas is what they call them) and I literally got 2 shrimp! Don Marcos always gives 7 or more. My wife order street tacos amd they were super tiny and dry. My daughters meals were also small portions as well. My fajitas filling (lettuce, tomatoes, beans, and rice) were in these small containers that barely had any in it. We got a 1/2 bag of chips when Don Marco's gives us 2 big full bags. They gave us 1 tiny cup of salsa and a slightly bigger cup than the salsa cup of cheese. We also ordered an extra thing of chips and salsa and didn't get them. With Don marcos we get a big cup of salsa by default and their cup of cheese is huge! So if I were you, if you want hood Mexican food with good portions and everything go with Don Marco's and not this place.

I took my family of 7 (which included three 9 year old triplet boys) to dinner July 31. We had a fantastic dinner and the service was outstanding. They wanted to go back the next day. The boys were excited and really enjoyed their food. We will be back on our next trip.

The service here was absolutely horrible. Waited 20 mins when there was no reason too. Than when the host finally came said they had to clean tables first. All of them were dirty. We got to our table and took another 15 minutes before our drink order was taking. We decided to order with our drinks as we already knew what we wanted. The cheese dip didn't come until after we had our entrées. My sons chicken tenders were dark brown and hard to eat. He dodnt eat them.The server never came around to check on us but 1 time. When we were done eating. We waited about 20 minutes until I decided to look for the server to ask for our checks. He was just chatting with 2 others at a table rolling silverware. The service was not great and we weren't impressed at all. We won't be back again.
