The search is over! Everything was made fresh and made on site and you can taste the difference. We've been to hundreds of Mexican restaurants in various states and this was the best salsa, guacamole, chips, house margaritas, Arroz con polo, quesadillas, and burrito that we've ever had at any of them. After a day at Soaky Mountain, our family of four on a whim decided to go to El Machete for dinner. The server was very attentive and the food came out super fast! As far as food quality, I’d say that El Machete is better than a typical American Mexican restaurant. A big plus is their menu has authentic Mexican dishes! Bathrooms were really clean too! I’d recommend going to El Machete - great overall experience!
