Such a good time my whole family love the experience and the food was cooked perfectly!
This place was not what I expected and NOT worth the almost $100 dollars I spent. We got there and was directed to get poles to fish which had corn we sat there for over 15 minutes until they gave a new bait another 15 minutes until they gave us rods and then it actually worked. We ordered our food and it came hush puppies colder than it was outside, Mac and cheese was so bland not even salt and pepper could save that and fries were not worth it either. We saw all the reviews and expected at least some seasoning or flavor but in all honesty this was the blandest food I’ve had so far on my vacation. The only reason I’d give it a star was because the staff was nice. Overall this place 0/10 and I would not recommend even eating here.
Overall we had a good time. We had 5 out of our group to catch a fish and we had them clean and cook them for us. I personally had an issue with one of the employees to which I addressed with the owner. He was very appreciative of me bringing it to him so he could address it. I would still recommend this place for a fun family adventure.
10/10 recommend if your planning a trip to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or surround areas to Sevierville. The atmosphere was down to earth and very “backwoods/backyard feeling”. The owner was SUPER nice as well as the staff that was helping with baiting and taking your fish off the hook when you catch one. Everyone was so friendly! We will definitely be back! My kids also enjoyed the Gem Mining as well!
Great time and food but please be aware cash only! Fishing was 5 dollars and the meal was 25. So 30 total. There is different charges depending on if you want to take your catch with you based on the weight.
You catch it, they clean it. Bring your own pole with a silver spinner/soon, fyi what you catch you keep.
Nice family outing, staff was great helping the kids fish. They cooked and served our catch, very good.
08/08/2025 food was delicious. 11 out of 10. Friendly workers & the fishing experience was amazing too. Highly recommended.
Hands down one of our most favorite places to grab a BITE to eat!
Took a while to catch our dinner but so.worth it, they have other dishes too so you dont have to catch your own fish. Great hushpuppies

Great staff very friendly and helpful! Everything about this place is absolutely great, a great experience. The food is cooked to perfection! It all tase so good no matter how you have the fish prepared, the hush puppy's are the best iv ever had and there apple sauce is home made and amazing i 10/10 recommend this place if your in Tennessee. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.
We took 3 families with kids from 7-18 and they all had a great time and enjoyed the atmosphere and the food! Highly recommend!
Such a fun place, my 4 year old loved catching and eating his fish! Also the best fish I have ever had (we got the blackened). The guy helping us fish was wonderful as well! 10/10!
I have very mixed feelings about this place. There is no sort of seating arrangements, and they actually had you sit with strangers. I found that to be rather strange. The staff seemed okay. The parking is not great, but they were quick to make accommodations for us. They do not mention on their website they are cash only, and I think that would be a nice addition. Also, I wish the cost for catching the fish wasn’t that expensive. My kiddos would’ve loved to fish. It seems very expensive for what you are getting. It’s like paying the price to sit in an expensive restaurant, but you’re at a campground style restaurant. The bathrooms were very very gross and need serious attention. I was curious about if they’ve had a health inspection, and what that looked like. I feel like the experience is very cool. The food was hot. My uncles coleslaw was an orange color, and I found that to be rather concerning. Perhaps it wasn’t coleslaw. I do not know. My “mac and cheese” was more like wet noodles with watered down cheese. Also, my brother in law caught a rare fish and I think they should do something special for them if they can’t keep the fish they catch. The food was hot, and I loved that. You had to wait, but it was fresher than any food you get at any other restaurant. I am not understanding why there are complaints about wait times when that is kind of a given. You are there for the experience. I believe we arrived around 1ish and left around 5pm. So, I wouldn’t select this if you are looking for like a quick in and out experience. All in all, we had a wonderful time. This place is very unique. It makes me feel like I am camping without the hassle.
One of our favorite spots! Trout fishing and gem mining!
