Our family had a great time visiting English Mountain Trout Farm last weekend. The outdoor space around the trout farm was pretty and had shady spots for us to avoid the hot sun while we fished. The staff were friendly and helpful and ensured we all got a great catch! It was great for adults and kids. All of us enjoyed our time and we plan to come back!
We all got the blackened trout and it was delicious. Worth the price for the experience and a tasty lunch. Seating was comfortable...
Overall we had a good time. We had 5 out of our group to catch a fish and we had them clean and cook them for us. I personally had an issue with one of the employees to which I addressed with the owner. He was very appreciative of me bringing it to him so he could address it. I would still recommend this place for a fun family adventure.
10/10 recommend if your planning a trip to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or surround areas to Sevierville. The atmosphere was down to earth and very “backwoods/backyard feeling”. The owner was SUPER nice as well as the staff that was helping with baiting and taking your fish off the hook when you catch one. Everyone was so friendly! We will definitely be back! My kids also enjoyed the Gem Mining as well!
