Food was very bland, the soup was nothing but water and some herbs. My cup had three potatoes. Atmosphere was good, but we will not be back.

The breakfast was good and we enjoyed the flavors, but overall it just wasn’t worth the price. The portions and quality didn’t quite match the cost, so it felt a bit overpriced for what we got.

Soup was good. Rest of the food was bland. Tried once will not try again. Wonderful atmosphere but that is about it.

Always good food. A reasonable price. Good customer service. I have any dislike for this place it's that it had brighter lighting at the tables

Where to begin - the service if not for the waitress being awesome this would have been my first 1 star review I have ever left also the only reason I didnt complain about the food. Ordered and the food arrived in less than 2 min, now i am a realest and know bbq has to be prepared in advance but this was bad I had a sampler tray the brisket was bland likely wrapped in foil through the entire cook which helped it not being dry but completely flavorless. The pulled pork was dry even though it was covered in bbq sauce the ribs were way over done a bit mushy but made for a way better pulled pork then the pulled pork. The (craft style) Mac and cheese must have been in the serving bowl for a while as the outside was badly dry but the center was okay the mashed potatoes also tasted boxed and were served the same way as the Mac and cheese. Also ordered the potpie which was very bland. The complimentary veg soup was actually good. Didn't eat much of the food which was good because it allowed me to try other places in the area.

I really wanted to like Five Oaks Farm Kitchen because I had read so many great reviews, but my experience tonight was incredibly disappointing. I came for dinner with my mom and toddler, and while the first impression was fantastic—the beautiful building, two fire pits outside, a pond and fountain next door, gorgeous chandeliers, and a modern rustic vibe—the food did not match the setting.
My mom ordered the chicken and dumplings, and the flavor was just off in a way that’s hard to describe. She couldn’t eat it. I ordered the smoked chicken, which was so dry I almost choked on it. My side salad tasted like it had been sitting uncovered in a fridge for way too long—every piece of lettuce was wilted. My toddler’s grilled cheese wasn’t even toasted properly; it looked like no butter was used at all, and he refused to eat it. I ended up having to grab food somewhere else for him after spending $50 on dinner.
Unfortunately, despite the beautiful atmosphere, I won’t be back.
